Alternatives of Home Violence Settling as seen by the Roman Catholic Church

My dissertation Alternatives of Home Violence Settling deals with various alternatives of how the home violence problems can be settled. The introductory chapter goes through the professional interpretation of the home violence term as well as causes, forms and specific signs of this violence type, being followed by description of its consequences and the myths which have gained a foothold in the general public. The home violence is characterized as a long-term, repeated and escalating physical, mental, or sexual cruelty to persons living in the common household; it takes place between close persons, adult family members, or also life partners. The victims, being exposed to long-term violence, lost their self-confidence, however, their fear and confusion increase; they also suffer from a good many various symptoms as depression, shame, decline of general state of health, or increased suicidal behavior. Chapter two focuses on the characterization of the home violence victims and delinquests as well. As to the victims, these can be everybody, irrespective of their education, age, social position or economic situation - women, seniors and handicapped persons as well as men. Socio-political analysis of the causes of indebtedness of citizens

The thesis "Analysis of the Causes of Over-Indebtedness" consists of a detailed analysis of issues leading up to over-indebtedness. It also aims to point out the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness. The thesis brings attention to the relation between causes and effects which, in many cases, take the form of the opposite and vice versa. The boundary between cause and effect can often be indistinct, and it is essential to distinguish between the two in order to find a solution for an over-indebted client. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of a loss of income which may lead to over-indebtedness, draws attention to the important role of education in the area of financial literacy, and notes on the most serious consequences of over-indebtedness, which it sees in the loss of housing, homelessness, and other negative effects. The research part concentrates on a social group which belongs to one of the most threatened with social exclusion, welfare applicants. The research attempts to analyse their debt situation in relation to their age, education, housing, unemployment period, willingness to change their situation, and willingness to repay their debt.

This BA thesis is concerned with the analysis of four literary works by Johnatan Safran Foer (Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close), Don DeLillo (Falling Man), Ken Kalfus (A Disorder Peculiar To The Country) and John Updike (Terrorist). As the novels will have been thoroughly introduced, a set of common motifs will be analysed. The need for self-reflection of the American (western) society, the urge for understanding the enemy and the reasons for hatred. The psychological, social, political and economical changes contemporary America had and has to face. The last part of the thesis tries to find out whether there is a new phenomenon (Post-9/11 Novel) forming in the contemporary Anglo-American literature, what are its aspects, its history and its future, which works are the most significant ones.
Obesity of young school - age children

The thesis deals with problematic of obesity of school-aged children, focuses on different points of view, tries to find out reasons leading to obesity and effects of obesity on the health and psyche of children. Obesity is defined as excess adipose tissue above optimal limits. Obesity mechanically burdens static strain and musculoskeletal system and makes worst physiological functions. The thesis is composed of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with causes of obesity, with prevention, effects of overweight and compares opinions of Czech and world authors. The practical part is based on measuring weight and height of sample of children from schools in Pribram. The results of questionnaires filled by children attending 4th grade of primary schools are examined. Children answered questions related to their eating habits and their leisure time. Due to the fact that the number of obese children is increasing continually, it is necessary to be more focused on prevention and helping overweight children and their families. Causes of formation, development and treatment of netholism in adolescents

The thesis is focused on new phenomenon called "internet addiction disorder". The thesis is focused on the origins and development of this addiction of children during growing up. It is also focused on prevention and possibilities of treatment. In the introduction is described the history of internet, its characteristics and chosen aspects. It is then followed by the terms of virtual environment and what it can provide for its user. The next chapter is focused on the problematics of internet addiction disorder. This part also points out the main effects, which are described in examples including the causes and consequences of this addiction influencing young people's lives. Part of the thesis is focused on the whole age of growing up and young adulthood and the high risks of formatting this addiction in young age. Next part of the thesis is focused on prevention and its applicable methods, including modern approach to the treatment and successful methods of treating the addicted teenagers. The diploma thesis focuses on the awareness of 2nd grade pupils of the selected primary school about the causes and consequences of the use of selected addictive substances. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the drug scene in the Czech Republic and the drug policy of the Czech Republic, the concepts of drug addiction, physical and mental addiction. The diploma thesis is focused on legal drugs - alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and illegal drugs - specifically on cannabis drugs. The next part of the work deals with addictive problems in children and adolescents and current trends in the use of addictive substances in young people in the Czech Republic according to several studies. At the end of the theoretical part, risk and protective factors influencing the emergence of addiction and risks and the consequences of selected addictive substances are described. Title: Environmental influences and the influence of parents' preferences on the development of movements precondition of school-age children Objectives: This bachelor thesis is focused on better description to better describe infleunce of family environment on motoric growth of children and to reveal connection between parents' preferences and child's movement preconditions. Next goal is to quantify physical activities of both parents and child on weekly basis and asses the relation between child's activities and both parents past and present activities. Methods: For theoretical part we used research of existing studies that indclude this topic. With an use of surveys we got qualified and quantifies data of motoric abilities of children and parents influence to it. Participants were parents of children between 6 and 15 years of age. This Survey was created in Google Forms and is based on answers considering 43 boys and 28 girls. Respondents were chosen by a snowball method and simple targeting method though institutions. Analysis of collected data was done in Excel program. Results: Based on collected data we can state that movement and nutritional literacy are determined by family habbits and example set by parents. Social work with drug addicts and their families

This thesis focuses on the results of a drug addiction for the drug takers and their families. In the begginning of the thesis I explain what drug addiction is and how it appears, then I describe the results of the drug addiction in the different episodes of a drug taker´s life. An important part of my thesis deals with an influence of the drug addiction on a whole family and also on its individual members. In conclusion, I introduce the forms of help for these families. I utilized scholarly articles and specialized publications.

The bachelor thesis titled "Labelling at School and its Impact on the Individual" describes the possible consequences of labelling of an individual. The work is focused on providing basic information about the theory of labelling, its forms and possible impacts on an individual's life. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the theory of labelling, opinions of selected authors, descriptions of individuals who possess strong prerequisites to be labelled and the potential impacts on the development of labelled individual. The practical part contains interviews with the continuity of open coding which is aimed at pointing out the context label assignment, the effect of labelling, label acceptance and its impact.
